Very long story brief, my father has inquired me to assist style him a brand-new mach3 display for an automatic barrier he is usually developing. I know nothing of programming of any type, save a simple knowing of binary. However, 'dutiful little girl symptoms' compels me to at least test. We currently have a screen he paid somebody else to design and style several years back, but he'd like another for a few reasons.

- He got to possess it transformed to five axis from six to function on the rotating lathes - today he wants six axis options once again.
- The prior screen has plenty of unnecessary features that took up space. He wants one even more streamlined with larger text and larger readouts on factors like the toolpath.
I downloaded a free of charge mach3 display developer and visually possess something that he desires. I simply possess no idea how to go about either using it as a screenset or mimicking it in the actual Mach3 plan (though I've been recently reading through up on some of the 'drag-and-drop' elements - it doesn't seem too tough). Furthermore, I don't know how to initialize points in code - LEDs, DROs, buttons, you title it. A display isn't much make use of if nothing can become executed with it.
I'm Googling up a thunderstorm, but I feel overloaded. I simply wear't know where to start. If someone with some encounter in this could give me some direction - preferably with some type of tutorial to stick to or exercise with - then I'd become very grateful.
